Vision

Fast paced action arcade game with beatemup components.

Survive infinite waves of enemies as long as possible.

After each wave, pick a new ability while also picking enemy modifiers which make them harder to fight.

For example, pick a range attack with explosive damage but enemies now have shield on last hit which makes them invulnerable for 1 second.

Keyboard

  • WASD to MOVE
  • J: ATTACK (A)
  • K:  DASH (D)

Gamepad

  • Left stick: MOVE
  • X: ATTACK
  • A: DASH

Actions

  • ATTACK multiple times for combo attack
  • HOLD ATTACK: charged dash attack
  • Wait idle for some time to regenerate.

DEBUG KEYS

  • [ and ] to slow down or speed up simulation
  • 0 to toggle hit boxes debug
  • 1 to toggle input buffer debug
  • 2 to toggle game grid debug

Music is from the anime Naruto, just to give a ninja feeling for combat.

who did the sound for this? love it.

The music is from Naruto (the anime), I used it just to give the idea of a ninja combat.

I think there are some UI/UX things that you could polish up, such as staying on the final score until an input. The gameplay loop however, is super fun and challenging! Awesome work!
